Joseph Scrementi began practicing law immediately after receiving his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2011. In law school he took part in Mock Trial, was on the dean's list, and served as Vice President of the Justinian Society in his second year and President in his third. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008.
Joseph joined Cifelli, Scrementi & Dore, Ltd. in 2020, where he focuses on civil litigation. Before joining the firm, he worked at a large, well-respected personal injury firm, gaining experience in all types of civil litigation and workers' compensation matters.
A seasoned trial attorney, Joseph has tried more than 50 jury trials in Cook County and the surrounding collar counties and has argued before the First and Third District Appellate Courts. He was named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021, 2022 and 2023, a distinction given to only the top 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois.
